Emma Beck

Emma Beck joined the 14 News team in June 2025. A native Hoosier from Indianapolis, she is excited to begin her career here in her home state.

After graduating from Southport High School, Emma went on to attend the The Media School at Indiana University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, with a concentration in News Reporting and Editing and specialization in Broadcast. She also received a minor in Political Science.

Before starting at 14 News, Emma completed news reporting internships at Indiana Public Media/WTIU/WFIU in Bloomington, WISH-TV in Indianapolis, and a public relations internship at Brightside Printing in London, UK. During her time at IU, Emma anchored, reported, and worked as Executive Producer for IU's student-run newscast, IU NewsNet. She also spent time as a news editor and reporter at the Indiana Daily Student and as an anchor and reporter for the IU Student Televison network. Emma also spent her time in college serving as the Media Relations person for IU Dance Marathon, an organization that fundraises for Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.

When Emma isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her new husband, her family, and her friends. She also loves relaxing with a good book, catching up on reality TV, and cheering on the Hoosiers and Pacers.
