Video: Protester appears to fall after contact with truck entering Portland ICE facility
PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV/Gray News) - A protester appeared to fall after a pickup truck drove into the driveway of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Portland, as shown by video that captured the incident from across the street.
The video, recorded from an apartment balcony overlooking the facility on June 10, 2026, around 2:30 p.m., shows a black pickup truck approaching the entrance while roughly half a dozen anti-ICE protesters stand on the sidewalk in front of the driveway.
As the truck turns into the facility’s driveway, it appears to pass between the protesters standing on the sidewalk. The footage appears to show the truck accelerating as it enters the driveway. One protester appears to come in contact with the truck and falls onto the ground in the driveway. A protest sign can be seen flying into the air as the person falls behind the truck.
The truck continues into the facility through the secured gate after pausing for approximately two seconds in the driveway, according to the video.
The protester remains on the ground in the driveway and can be heard screaming for several seconds. He later stands up and walks back towards the sidewalk while holding his arm.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately clear, and it was not possible from the video alone to determine how the person came in contact with the truck.
Requests for comment were sent Wednesday to ICE and the City of Portland by FOX 12 Oregon. Neither had responded as of the time of publication.
It was not immediately known whether the protester sought medical treatment or whether police were investigating the incident.
The Portland ICE facility has been the site of recurring immigration-related protests.
