Indiana’s Attorney General talks about his lawsuit against St. Joseph County sheriff

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita has filed a lawsuit against St. Joseph County Sheriff Bill Redman.

Rokita talked to our Josh Short today about the suit.

He says Redman is ignoring the law when it comes to handling illegal immigrants.

Redman and his staff have denied any wrongdoing.

A judge will make a ruling about whether or not to dismiss the case or let it move forward on Aug. 18.
