SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Sunny and warm weather continues through the last weekend of October, with highs in the low 70s and dry conditions perfect for a trip to a local pumpkin patch or corn maze.

Saturday reaches 70 with a mix of sun and clouds, and Sunday warms to 72. Overnight lows stay in the mid-40s. Monday stays mild near 70 before Tuesday cools to 65 under more clouds as a cold front moves in.

By Wednesday, highs will climb back up to around 70 as a warm front moves in, with the next chance for light showers arriving between Wednesday night and Thursday as another cold front arrives. Thursday highs cool back into the 60s.

Looking ahead, Halloween weekend is looking a little spooky for rain. A low-pressure system is forecast to move through the Midwest and will determine who has rain for Halloween night into Sunday. Highs drop into the 60s for Halloween weekend. For now, plan on a rain poncho over costumes, but there is plenty of time for the forecast to change.

The rain chance lingers Sunday, Nov. 1. Clocks also go back one hour as daylight saving time ends. There are still no signals of the first snow just yet.
