SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The new-look South Bend school board will host its first board meeting this Wednesday.

And with the help of our reporting partners at the South Bend Tribune, we are now getting a clearer picture on some of the items they could vote on soon.

The new members will be voting on officer positions. Things like president, vice president, treasurer and so on.

It’s also anticipated the new board will be voting on the district’s updated CTE Hub proposal after the initial proposal to have the hub at Coquillard Elementary School failed. The superintendent said they would re-tweak the original proposal.

The trustees could soon approve the district’s new “Course Description Guide” for the upcoming school year. The last board tabled it. This guide would have info for students to select their high school courses.

Wednesday’s meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Brown Administration Building (737 Beale Street) and be livestreamed on the school district’s YouTube channel.
