Suspect at large after man shot during argument in Cass County
VANDALIA, Mich. (WNDU) - The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who allegedly shot another man during an argument early Wednesday morning.
Deputies were called just before 2 a.m. to Sherry Lee’s Bar and Grill on State Street in Vandalia.
According to police, two men were arguing when things turned physical and one of them was shot in the foot. Police did not say whether the shooting happened inside or outside of the bar.
The victim, a 24-year-old, was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the other man left the scene before deputies arrived and remains at large. However, they say there is no threat to the public.
The investigation is ongoing. Police have not identified the suspect at this time.
