Daughter accused of killing mom after she was found dead inside home, deputies say

BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WHNS/Gray News) - A woman in North Carolina is accused of killing her mother after she was found dead inside a home, according to authorities.
Deputies were called to an address on Clarks Crossing Way for a welfare check and found 63-year-old Lori Pallinger deceased, WHNS reported.
An investigation led deputies to charge Pallinger’s daughter, Danya Kathryn Dewey, with first-degree murder.
Deputies have not released Pallinger’s cause of death or what led up to the homicide.
This investigation is ongoing.
