Man attacked by bull dies
SMYRNA, S.C. (WHNS/Gray News) - One of the two men attacked by a bull in South Carolina Sunday night has died, officials said.
The C.K.C. Fire Department said crews were called to DK’s Creek and Pasture after someone reported the incident.
Officials said the two men were reportedly weeding on the property when the bull attacked one of them. Officials said the other man tried to stab the bull to stop it, but it then turned around and attacked him, too.
Officials said both men managed to get out of the pasture and were taken to the hospital with injuries.
On Thursday, the coroner’s office said 54-year-old Brian Oliver died from his injuries at 12:55 a.m.
The man’s daughter said he died before meeting his newest granddaughter, Milana, who had just been released from the neonatal intensive care unit.
The coroner’s office said that other man is still in the hospital with injuries.
