Wednesday’s Child: 12-year-old Lyla hopes to find a family
Michigan foster child says trust and family are important to her
MICHIGAN (WNDU) - A 12-year-old foster child in Michigan is hoping to find a new family soon.
Lyla is a football fan who says she not only watches the game but likes to play it too.
“I wanna get adopted because I can have a family and I can trust them. Trust is important to me because, ‘cause if I have something that’s bad at school, I can go to them and I can share it,” Lyla said.
Lyla said math is her favorite subject because it comes easy to her.
Lyla’s story was provided by Grant Me Hope. Those interested in learning more about Lyla can visit the Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange.
