Tricia Sloma has served as co-anchor of WNDU-TV's Emmy-nominated "16 Morning News" since late 1993.
She joined the 16 News Now team early in 1993 as a reporter. A five-time Emmy nominee, Sloma won the Chicago region Emmy for current affairs programming in 2018. Sloma also received an Indiana Broadcasters Association 2018 Spectrum Award. She’s won numerous AP awards for the state of Indiana.
Prior to her assignment at WNDU, she worked for two years as a production assistant and reporter for the nationally syndicated agricultural news program "AgDay."
In addition, Tricia has worked in various capacities for the Ohio Secretary of State's office, ABN (Agri-Broadcasting Network) and WKTN-FM radio in Kenton, Ohio.
Tricia earned a bachelor of science degree in agricultural communications from The Ohio State University. Tricia and her husband have two children.
Her hobbies include travel, art, cooking and gardening.
