Wednesday’s Child: Elijah hopes to find a forever family
A teenager who loves basketball, Goosebumps books and Uno is waiting for a mom, a dad and a place to call home
MICHIGAN (WNDU) - Elijah is 16 years old, in 10th grade and ready to find a forever family.
The teenager said his interests include basketball, video games, watching movies and reading. His favorite subjects in school are reading and science, and his favorite books are the Goosebumps series and the Bible — with “The Night of the Living Dummy” topping his Goosebumps list.
Elijah said he wants a mom and a dad, along with pets — specifically a cat and a dog. He described siblings as “fun” and said he would want to play card games with them, including Uno.
“When I grow up, I wanna be an NBA player,” Elijah said.
Elijah said he enjoys going to movie theaters, fancy restaurants, flea markets and garage sales with family. He added that California is a place he would love to visit, citing the weather and the experience of spending time with family.
“I’m Elijah. I’m looking for a forever home,” he said.
