2nd child gets stuck inside same claw machine
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4/Gray News) - A second child got stuck inside the same claw machine at a recreational center in Missouri.
Ryan Campbell said he was recently watching his daughter’s game at the Soccer Dome in Webster Groves when he looked over and saw his 3-year-old son, Patrick, inside the machine.
“I get ball,” Patrick responded when asked why he crawled inside.
Patrick’s family wasn’t too surprised.
“I knew Patrick was going to get stuck in there,” Patrick’s sister said.
It wasn’t the first time firefighters were called to the Soccer Dome for a claw machine rescue. Weeks earlier, 2-year-old Cooper King managed to climb inside.
“He’s laughing, throwing balls everywhere. We were like, ‘Cooper, try and go back down.’ And he was shaking his head,” Cooper’s mother said.
Webster Groves firefighters have even put together a special toolkit in case another child becomes trapped inside the claw machine.
