Senior living facility helps 85-year-old woman achieve her skydiving dreams

ST. LOUIS (KMOV/Gray News) - A senior living facility helped an 85-year-old woman achieve her dream of going skydiving.

Charlotte Wozinski stays pretty active.

“I like art, I like to paint, I like to travel,” she said.

The mother of five always wanted to follow in her paratrooper husband’s footsteps.

Wozinski lives at Cedarhurst Senior Living, which has a program called Dream Come True. The program helped her achieve her dream of going skydiving.

“The free fall was just wonderful!” she said, “And then, after the parachute opened, that glide down was so peaceful.”

Wozinski said that she is ready to go skydiving again.
