The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-2 tornado moved through Bristol on Thursday night. The tornado had a max width of 100 yards and a path length of 2.22 miles. It had peak winds of 115 mph. It was on the ground for about four minutes from 10:46 p.m. to 10:50 p.m.

Community members in Elkhart are cleaning up Friday after severe winds caused damage throughout the city and resulted in widespread power outages. The storm brought everything from uprooted trees to vehicle damage and property structural damage, along with heavy downpours and lightning. Several roads were filled with debris, including tree limbs and other hazards.
