We’re joined by Jim McKinnies, senior pastor at Christ Temple Apostolic in South Bend, who runs a food pantry in partnership with Cultivate Food Rescue to help feed local families. “Fridays by the Fountain” is back in Downtown South Bend! The series runs weekly from 11:45 to 1:15 p.m., bringing food, music and fun to people across Michiana.

WNDU is partnering with Cultivate Food Rescue through June 24 for our Donate to Cultivate campaign, raising money to provide meals for children facing food insecurity in St. Joseph, Elkhart and Marshall counties. The initiative has already brought in thousands of dollars in donations, and Lochmandy Auto Group added to that total on Thursday.

The South Bend Police Department is hosting its annual "Schools Out Cookout" on June 12 at the MLK Jr. Dream Center. The cookout includes free food, drinks, games and prizes from various partner organizations.
