Good clowns do exist

Over the past week, people have called police claiming clowns were trying to scare them and hurt them.
Squiggles and Smaxy are just two normal everyday clowns who spend their days making bubbles, balloons, and jokes. Their goal is to make people laugh, not cry.
"Our motto is actually "brightening lives one smile at a time,"" Smaxy said.
They even go out of their way to burst the bubble of anyone using them to scare people
"When they want to take a picture we say "Is that to scare someone? Because if it is, we're not into that!"" Squiggles said. "We're into making people happy. That's like, if you're afraid of spiders or snakes would you like to get that thrown at you?"
so when people started calling in reports of scary clowns, people began to worry about normal clowns like Squiggles and Smaxy.
"Yesterday we did get a call," Squiggles said. "A lady that was already scheduled to party wanted to know if she should still have us as clowns or if we could dress lighter."
Even without the recent clown scare there still are kids who are afraid of all clowns, even after trying to help them out.
"If they stay afraid, we just, you know, veer away from them," Smaxy said. "I mean, that's one thing. You don't push yourself on any child that's afraid or anyone that's afraid."
The pair can't help everyone with their clown fears, but they want people to know there is still good out there in the clown world.
"Seeing all those smiles on the people's faces...That's worth it all." Smaxy said.
"Not all clowns are scary." Squiggles said. "We love kids and we're out to make people happy. That's the gist of it"
Squiggles and Smaxy say you can easily identify a real non-threatening clown by what they're wearing or by the clear markings on what they're driving. You'll never see them in an alley, walking around at night in costume, or wearing any scary masks.
