South Bend Cubs host America 250 Michiana Salute
Radio station B100 and the South Bend Cubs hosted the event
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The goal: a chorus of 250 voices.
One song.
One unforgettable moment at Four Winds Field.
Friday night, radio station B100 and the South Bend Cubs hosted the America 250 Michiana Salute.
The community came together to sing the National Anthem while holding a 50-foot American flag before the Cubs game.
The LaSalle council of Boy Scouts of America was also there, adding to the patriotic spirit of the night.
“So, we knew there was a person out there who had this flag and we wanted that to like showcase how incredible this event and how just to make it more magical like the bigger the flag the more magic it could be,” said Angela Ellison the event coordinator for Pack 222.
