PITTSBURGH (WNDU) - Former Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price has been drafted by the Seattle Seahawks with the 32nd overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Price finished his Irish career with 1,692 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns. He also returned three kickoffs for touchdowns in his career and added three more scores as a receiver.

He had the best season of his career this past season, rushing for 674 yards with a career-high 11 touchdowns. Two of his kickoff return touchdowns and two of his receiving touchdowns also came this past season, which was good enough to earn him a spot on the AP All-America Third Team as an all-purpose player.

However, stats don’t tell the full story with a player like Price. He was splitting carries with fellow first round draft pick Jeremiyah Love the past two seasons to form one of the best backfields in America. The Arizona Cardinals took Love with the third overall pick in the draft.

The Seahawks are defending Super Bowl champions after defeating the New England Patriots this past February.
