WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WNDU) - Former NorthWood High School wide receiver Nitro Tuggle plans to enter the transfer portal from Purdue, according to On3 Sports.
Tuggle transferred to Purdue last off-season after playing his freshman season at Georgia, finishing his sophomore season with 34 receptions for 500 yards and four touchdowns.
He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Tuggle is the second player from the Michiana area who is planning to transfer from Purdue after it was reported late last month that former Concord High School running back Jaron Thomas plans to enter the portal.
The NCAA transfer portal window officially opens on Friday.
