WNDU makes big push for 16-Pack-a-Backpack donations

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Friday night marked our big push for our back-to-school campaign, 16 Pack-a-Backpack.

The annual drive allows us and our community partners at Notre Dame Federal Credit Union, Goodwill, and Meijer to help to raise money to support kids in Michiana as they prepare to start a new school year.

As part of our final push ahead of the upcoming school year, we held a phone bank during Friday evening’s newscasts. We took your calls and your generous donations toward this great cause.

If you missed Friday’s phone bank, there’s still some time left to donate! For only $10, you can provide a backpack and supplies to help a child start the new school year off on the right foot.

To make your donation now, click here or click on the giant bar below! Be sure to select Pack-a-Backpack when you make your donation.
