Several WNDU newscasts to be impacted by U.S. Open golf coverage

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - NBC’s coverage of the 2025 U.S. Open Championship kicks into high gear this weekend, which means several of our regularly scheduled newscasts will be impacted by the golf coverage.

On Friday evening, our 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. shows will not air. Instead, we will air a 30-minute newscast at 7 p.m. after NBC wraps up its Friday coverage of the tournament.

Meanwhile, we won’t have our 6 p.m. shows on Saturday and Sunday evening due to the golf coverage. Our 11 p.m. shows on both nights will air as normally scheduled.

The U.S. Open coverage does NOT impact our Saturday and Sunday morning shows.
