Mishawaka Parks’ Summer Concert Series kicks off
MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WNDU) - The public got a chance to enjoy some free music Thursday night at Mishawaka’s Central Park.
It’s part of Mishawaka Parks and Recreation’s 2021 Summer Concert Series, where it takes place at three different venues per week.
They include Battell Park, Ball Band Biergarten, and of course Central Park.
Playing Thursday night at Central Park was the band Zero, whose lead singer says it’s good to bring everyone together again.
“With more people being vaccinated and just being out and about it’s just really nice to have everybody back together. It feels good to have my parents out, my friends out,” says Damon Frick. “Getting together feels really good right now.”
The next concert will take place June 7 at Battell Park, where the band The Villagers will take the stage.
