19-year-old accused of killing uncle, injuring father in shooting
GREENVILLE, S.C. (WHNS/Gray News) - Authorities in South Carolina say a 19-year-old has been charged with murder in a shooting involving his father and uncle.
According to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, Isaiah Rapley was taken into custody Friday night after deputies responded to a residence about a family dispute in which two people were found shot.
Authorities said Rapley’s father was seriously injured in the shooting, while his uncle, Terrence Rapley, 37, died.
Isaiah Rapley is facing charges that include murder, attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
The 19-year-old was denied bond Saturday by a magistrate judge on all charges. The judge also ordered that he have no contact with the family members involved.
Isaiah Rapley remains in custody at the Greenville County Detention Center.
