CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO/Gray News) - The owner of a Cleveland barbershop chain says a customer shot at one of his barbers after they got their haircut over the weekend.

Waverly Willis is now asking for the public’s help in finding the man who also did not pay for the service.

The barbershop owner released this image of the suspected shooter.

According to Willis, the man in question walked into his Urban Kutz Barbershop on Detroit Avenue Sunday evening.

The customer reportedly didn’t have the money to pay for the haircut and a confrontation ensued where the man pulled out a gun and shot at the barber.

The barber was not injured in the shooting, but the man took off from the scene and hasn’t been able to be located.

Cleveland police said they received a call around 3:30 p.m. for shots fired in the area.

The man shot four to five times from inside and outside of the barbershop, investigators said.

The longtime business owner said this was the first time something like this had happened at one of his barbershops.
