Woman, infant forced onto ground during South Bend home invasion

A woman and her six-week-old baby had a frightening experience as their home was invaded Monday.

It happened on the 2200 block of Rogers Street in South Bend.

South Bend Police dispatch confirms that the woman called Monday morning to report that her home was invaded by two gunmen. According to the caller, she and her six-week-old baby were forced to lie on the floor during the invasion.

After the gunmen broke open the locked door, they stole three TVs and a gaming system.

Fortunately, nobody was injured in the ordeal.
