DETROIT (AP) Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at this year's Fight for Freedom Fund Dinner in Detroit.

The 60th annual event starts at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Cobo Center.

Harvard Law School professor Charles Ogletree delivered last year's keynote. Other past speakers have included U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and former President Bill Clinton.

The Detroit chapter of the NAACP says the dinner draws 10,000 people each year. The dinner is the Detroit branch's largest fundraiser.

Democratic U.S. Rep. John Conyers of Detroit will be among four people to be honored at the dinner.
