Two arrested, one escapes in Howard Township home invasion

Howard Township, Mich.-- Two people were arrested following a home invasion Saturday evening in Cass County.

It happened just after 6 p.m. in the 28,000 block of Coulter Street in Howard Township.

A deputy knew the homeowners weren't there but noticed a vehicle parked in the grass.

He confronted the three suspects and they took off.

The officer followed their vehicle until it crashed on M-60 near Oak Grove Road in Jefferson Township.

A 17 and 21-year-old man were taken into custody. The third suspect got away.

No names have been released pending arraignment.
