Suspect pleads guilty to violent home invasion

NEW PARIS One of two men accused in a home invasion in New Paris last year faces up to 120 years in prison.

43-year-old Jeffrey Hill faces multiple charges, including robbery while armed with a deadly weapon, resulting in bodily injury. The Elkhart Truth reports that he pleaded guilty to the crime.

Hill's co-defendant and son, 25-year-old Jeffery Hunt, is scheduled to stand trial March 17th.

One of the men reportedly beat a victim with a tire iron during the home invasion in November 2013. He suffered three fractured vertebrae in his neck, along with other injuries.
