South Bend, Ind. The third annual Sounds by South Bend Music Festival kicks off Thursday. It is an event that will feature more than 45 local and regional bands. These bands will play at 20 different venues over the course of the next three days.
Tickets cost $10 each. That ticket will get you into any of the venues to listen to any band over the three days. It will also get you into a venue for free if there is a cover.
This year, 10% of all online ticket sales will benefit The Unity Gardens of South Bend.

NewsCenter 16 met up with one of the bands Thursday morning. The Ember Jar will perform Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Commerce Center Building, more specifically at the Four Feet Deep venue.
