A seven car accident in Elkhart County shut down County Road 35 between County Roads 34 and 36 Wednesday morning.
Fortunately no one was injured.
Some roads were like a sheet of ice, especially east of Goshen.
Problems started before six a.m. when one vehicle slid off the road.
Other vehicles tried to stop and move around the single car accident but started to slide and crash into each other.
In only a few minutes, seven vehicles were off the road or damaged.
“When I was coming over the hill it wasn't too bad,” says driver Kevin Oaks from Goshen. “When I got on the back side of the hill there was eight other cars sitting here. I made it past some of them but my truck turned sideways and it hit another one.”
Police say the roads were hazardous from about 4 a.m. until 10.
