SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A recount of the votes cast in a St. Joseph County Council race was held Monday.
The votes were recounted by hand by a three member recount commission.
Although officials say the counting is done, they will not say what impact the recount may or may not have had on the outcome of the race for council district B.
That will apparently become known after the recount commission reports to a judge on Wednesday morning.
The count on election night gave incumbent councilman Cory Noland a 35-vote victory over his Republican challenger Dennis Jordan.
