One of the three men charged in a home invasion that led to the death of a South Bend man pleaded guilty to a lesser charge Monday.

De'Andre Moore was charged with robbery, burglary, and felony murder in the death of 40-year-old Michael Jackson.

Police believe Moore and Jackson were among a group that broke into a home on Warrick Street in South Bend back in October 2014.

Jackson was shot and killed by the homeowner.

On Monday, Moore pleaded guilty to robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.

Felony murder charges will be dismissed, and Moore will be a witness in his co-defendants' trials.

Moore's sentencing is scheduled for February 25.
