Mishawaka stabbing suspect has death row appeals denied

A Mishawaka man accused of stabbing three people to death back in 1998 had his latest appeals denied.

Wayne Kubsch, 48, was convicted of killing his wife, her ex-husband and their young son. He was sentenced to death.

Kubsch's three arguments for the most recent appeal were all rejected. He argued that some of the evidence presented was hearsay, and that his choice to represent himself was not knowing and voluntary.

Kubsch will remain on death row. An execution date has not been set.
