A number of folks in South Bend took another step towards getting back on their feet.
Friday was graduation day for folks at the Hope Ministries program.
Residents of Hope Ministries take part in six months of classes including addiction recovery and a variety of classes to heal and recover from their hardships.
And the graduates say they would never take what they learned for granted.
“I love Hope so much what I have experienced here,” said Kevin Pegues. “The growth that I have received and what I see that Hope gives back to the community. The courage that they have to accept all of us broken soles, to mold us and shape us in god's way. And send us on a journey. To me that's the most beautiful thing.”
Hope Ministries is able to provide their services for 18 families with kids, 35 single men and 16 single women.
