If you're struggling to get to the gym, maybe this will inspire you. A father of five is on a mission to complete 50 full triathlons in 50 days in 50 states.

“I am lucky, I barely know what state I am in,” explains the man taking on this challenge, James Lawrence.

The Iron Cowboy, James Lawrence, has been traveling around the United States in an RV for the past 39 days in a row, completing full triathlons. That means a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and a full marathon, 26.2 miles, every day. His latest race is taking place Tuesday in Benton Harbor.

“We are on day number 39 of 50 and the nationwide embrace has been unbelievable,” says Lawrence.

The goal is to raise money and awareness to help fight childhood obesity. All of the money that is raised goes directly to the Jamie Oliver Foundation.

“I hold two world records, one for the most half Ironmans and one for the most full Ironmans in a full year. Both times we raised money for charity and I wanted to do something crazy and big enough because childhood obesity needed that attention,” explains Lawrence.

Lawrence says it will take him about 14 hours to finish his Ironman in Benton Harbor. After, they will get back in the RV and travel to their next state which is Indiana.
