Five people injured in car crash on M 51 in Michigan

Police had their hands full Monday with the snow making travel hazardous. Monday just before 2 p.m., police responded to a two car accident on M 51, just north of Downey St, in Silver Creek Township, in Cass County Michigan.

The southbound vehicle, driven by David Lear, lost control and crossed the centerline colliding with a northbound car, driven by Michael Shields. David had three passengers Kevin Milliken, Joseph Lear and Mercedes Tingue. All five involved in the crash were transported to Borgess Lee Hospital in Dowagiac. All involved were residents of the Dowagiac area.
