St. Joseph An Elkhart man responsible for two Michigan break-ins will spend at least 10 years behind bars.

That was the sentence handed down to Donald Cupery in a Berrien County courtroom.

Cupery was arrested in connection with two daytime home invasions in Royalton Township back in May.

Police tracked him down after he tried to break into the second home, while the resident was still there.

According to our reporting partners at the Herald-Palladium, Cupery pleaded guilty to the home invasion charges on December 6..
