Berrien County police investigate three related home invasions

Between May 24 and June 28, the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office has responded to three separate home invasions in the Township of Sodus.

In each incident, an unknown male entered the home through an unlocked door. Each home was occupied during the invasions, and the suspect ran from the scene after being confronted.

In all three incidents, the suspect was unable to steal anything.

Police believe the three home invasions are related. Each one occurred in the late evening or early morning hours, and all three targeted homes are in the vicinity of Pipestone Road/River Road and Nickerson Avenue.

The suspect is described as being approximately 5’10" to 6’0" tall with a slender build.

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office is reminding the citizens of Berrien County to keep their doors and windows locked at all times.
