A teenager faces several charges after leading police on a high-speed chase early Thursday morning.
An officer with the Marshall County Police Department tried to pull over 19-year-old Vanessa McCracken of Columbia City near US 30 and King Road.
They say she sped off, reaching speeds near 120 miles an hour before she crashed through a fence. She drove through a field and went into a water-filled ditch.
With the help of a K-9 unit, police found the driver in another ditch and took her to the hospital.
After she was released, police logged McCracken into the Marshall County Jail on charges including resisting law enforcement, aggressive driving, and leaving the scene of an accident.
Her bond has been set at $1,500.
