Triton hopes to flip the script against Bremen

SOUTH BEND (WNDU) - In this week's Friday Night Football Spotlight game, it's the undefeated Bremen Lions hosting the Triton Trojans.

The two schools are separated by only 12 miles and they play each other every single year.

But believe it or not, it's been over a decade since Triton has taken down Bremen.

This year the Trojans would love to flip the script and get the win this time around against the Lions.

"It would mean a lot," Triton senior quarterback James Snyder said. "I would like to be the one leading the way and try to get the rest of the line blocking for me. It would be pretty sweet."

"I think we are definitely really ready and focused," Triton senior center Aaron Sticher said. "We're ready to go out and hit them hard."

"I would say the atmosphere is a lot like this, it's a lot like when your big brother goes away to college and little brother has been doing things at home" Triton head coach Rob Brown said. "He comes home and tries to put you back in your place. That's what it's going to be like. It's going to be big brother going up against the little brother. We're going to do what we can to show them what we've learned and how we've grown as a program."
