Even during a tough losing season, one thing the Adams Eagles can always count on is their student body being out in full force cheering them on.

The Eagles fan base has been there every step of the away and has helped revitalize Adams to two straight wins to close out the regular season.

As a result, Adams is the 16 Spirit Award winners for week nine. On Thursday, NewsCenter 16 Sports Director Angelo Di Carlo will head out to Adams to present the Eagles with a plaque from Monteith's Best One and WNDU for showing the most school spirit on last week's edition of Friday Night Football.

Adams won this week's poll with 41% of the vote. They beat out Edwardsburg (31%), LaVille (24%) and NorthWood (4%).

Adams defeated SB St. Joe 19-14 Friday night.

The Eagles began the season with a 1-6 record but have won the last two games to head into the postseason with a 3-6 mark. They are on the bye this Friday night but will open up sectional play by hosting LaPorte on October 27th at School Field.
