Notre Dame men's lacrosse advances to quarterfinals with 16-9 win over Johns Hopkins

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - For the ninth time in the last 10 seasons, Notre Dame is moving on to the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals.

The Irish took down Johns Hopkins 16-9 at Arlotta Stadium to improve to 9-2 in NCAA Championships games at home.

Notre Dame was led by Morrison Mirer who scored four goals for the Irish, Ryder Garnsey and Bryan Costabile each scored hat tricks on the night.

With the win, Notre Dame improves to 2-5 all-time against the Blue Jays.

Next up, the Irish play Duke next weekend in the quarterfinals.
