SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Today, the world learned the fate of the Notre Dame men's and women's lacrosse teams in the NCAA Tournament.
For the 14th straight year, the Irish men's lacrosse team is going dancing. For the 12th time ever, Notre Dame is hosting a game in the first round. The Irish play John Hopkins at Arlotta Stadium Sunday May 12 at 7:30 PM.
Notre Dame is the seventh overall seed.
As for the Irish women's lacrosse team, Notre Dame earned a bid in the NCAA Tournament for the seventh time in the last eight seasons. The Irish will take on Stanford in the first round this Friday in Evanston, Illinois. Game time is still to be determined.
