Notre Dame lacrosse falls in ACC Championship to Virginia, 10-4

The Irish men's lacrosse team fell to Virginia 10-4 in the ACC Championship game Saturday night.

It was Notre Dame's third straight trip to the conference title game.

The Irish tied the game 2-2 in the first quarter as senior Nick Stinn scored his second goal of the season. However, the Cavaliers scored eight straight goals to shut down Notre Dame.

The Irish finds out their fate in the NCAA Tournament with the selection show tomorrow evening.

The selections begin at 9 PM on ESPNU.
