Just four games into the season, we've already got one of the biggest games in the state in 3A, as #1 Marian came from behind to knock off #4 (and defending state champs) Culver Academy, 39-38.

The game featured two of the best players in the area in Marian junior Jaden Ivey, and Culver senior Trey Galloway. Notre Dame men's basketball coach Mike Brey and Purdue basketball coach Matt Painter were on hand to see the two stars. Both players have scholarship offers from both schools.

Ivey had 19 of his team's 39 points, and Jerry Bracey added 9, including the game-winner with under a minute remaining to complete the comeback.

Marian improves to 4-0, and will next take on John Glenn on Friday night. Culver Academy, meanwhile, drops their second straight and falls to 3-2. The Eagles will host Indianapolis Howe on Friday.
