SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - One Notre Dame football player who is feeling a lot better this spring compared to last year is running back Jafar Armstrong..
Due to the lack of depth in the backfield, Armstrong was asked to make the switch from wide receiver to running back last spring.
But now with a year under his belt at the running back position, Armstrong says he feels more comfortable and now knows what to expect with his role this season.
"Spring time is the time to get better," Armstrong said. "You're not game planning every week. You are just honing your craft every week. It's Year 2 in my position. I'm just going with the flow. Everything is a lot clearer for me. Last year was a bit blurry but this year is more clear and I understand all aspects of college football I would say."
Armstrong and the Irish have their last practice of the spring tomorrow morning before the Blue Gold spring game on Saturday. The action is slated to start at 12:30 PM.
