ELKHART (WNDU) - Yesterday was Newscenter 16's first night of Friday Night Football and it's clear who stole the show.
Elkhart Central's junior running back Mark Brownlee absolutely dominated Elkhart Memorial.
Brownlee finished the night with 255 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the Blazers 38-7 win over the Chargers.
But get this, last year, Brownlee played for Memorial. We caught up with the Blazers running back after the game about facing his old teammates and what it was like to run the ball at will.
"They are my brothers," Brownlee said. "I've known them since middle school. We've always been close but on this side it was great too but I'm back with my brothers reunited. Man it felt really great. Just hope to do this every game. It's a blessing. Last year, we couldn't start 1-0. We lost to them. But we back. I'm back at it. Feel great."
