The Winnebago plant in Middlebury has been fined $10,000 in the wake of a worker death there in April.

A coworker driving a forklift ran over and killed employee Rick Schlabach. Relatives say Schlabach wasn't discovered until hours after the incident.

Indiana's Occupational Safety and Health Administration basically cited the forklift for speeding, saying it was "not operated at a speed that would permit it to be brought to a stop in a safe manner."

IOSHA also alleges that the forklift was improperly modified to include Plexiglas front and rear windshields.
