Witness: Man suffers burns in apparent explosion; officials decline comment
A witness at the scene told NewsCenter 16 a man suffered burns to the upper part of his body after an apparent home explosion in Goshen Monday afternoon.
The apparent explosion happened in the 200 block of Wilkinson Street.
Representatives from the Goshen Police Department and Goshen Fire Department declined to comment.
The witness said the victim was confused and concerned for his children, but it was determined the children were not in the home at the time of the apparent explosion. Medics on the scene also reportedly told the witness the victim was going to be airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
At least one wall and entrance to the home where the apparent explosion happened were burned as a result of the incident.
