Airports can be tough to navigate and for some kids, it can be downright scary.

'Wings for Autism' is a national program from The Arc that helps families by relieving anxiety about flying, and it's coming to South Bend.

ADEC has partnered with The Arc and the South Bend International Airport to hold the event on April 30. It is essentially an airport rehearsal, specially designed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Participants will go through the security and boarding process, all the way up to buckling up on a plane.

Seating is limited. To register for the free program,
